Darrell was a pleasure to work with, he is calm, explains things well, and always got back to me promptly. He helped sell my recently deceased Aunty's house at a time when the market took a downward turn. House prices were dropping and selling below government value. During the process, I was updated weekly with reports on people who had shown interest in the house. Each interested party was always followed up. Reports often included stats on new sales in the area and my marketing stats, which reaffirmed what I was being told was happening in the market. No nonsense just the facts.
Darrel provided insight into the Auction process via video tutorials, which helped set my expectations around the pricing and moving forward with sensible offers. After the Auction, as there were no cash buyers, all interested parties were followed up, until an offer was made, negotiated, and accepted. Before this could happen the interest parties often required multiple visits. Darrell made himself available to let their tradespeople into the house to give quotes on renovations. He also gave us contacts for contractors to complete a couple of repairs that were needed.
During open homes, as no one was living in the house, he let us know if anything needed to be tidied up before the weekly open homes. After the sale, as our accepted offer was conditional on their house selling, which was conditional on their buyer selling, he continued with open homes and rallied previously interested parties in an attempt to get further backup offers in the event the first offer could not complete. We had multiple offers to consider.
Darrell made the process as easy as it could be and after a long time due to market conditions, we got a price that the family is very happy with. I will be thinking of him for any future transactions. Thank you so much Darrell.
